In 2009, Salt Lake City Golf Division contracted Axis Architects to provide schematic design for a new clubhouse at Bonneville Golf Course. This new design will cure several drawbacks of the existing facility. These include major issues with functionality and locations of services. Upon completion of the new clubhouse, most issues with the existing facility will be eliminated. The clubhouse will efficiently organize traffic while creating an inviting and enjoyable space in which to spend time before or after golfing, or during a special event. An open design will allow ease of movement within the facility while also admitting natural light and expansive views of the course itself.
