USU Business Building
Description:
Utah State University commissioned Axis Architects to provide a preliminary design for fund raising purposes showing potential for a new business building. The program includes classrooms, computer
labs, student interactive spaces, the business library, the Dean’s suite, faculty and staff offices, and the three pillars of the school, the Center for Entrepreneurship, Center for Global Management, and the Center for Ethical Leadership.
The building was designed to interact with the original business building which is directly adjacent to this site. The atrium provides commanding views over the Wellsville Mountain Range, and will be able to be seen from all parts of Cache Valley. This building was designed to occupy a a prime location on the campus, and would serve as an entry element for the campus. The building provides an iconic and progressive image which mirrors the modern curriculum.
